Orchids
Elegant and beautiful flowers from the tropics
Dendrobium is a very common genus of orchids, with about 1500 different species. These flowers come in an assortment of colors including white, orange, yellow, purple, pink, brown, and green, and form dense clusters on each stem.
Mokara is a beautiful hybrid created by crossing three different orchid species: Arachnis, Ascoscentrum and Vanda. Mokara orchids are known for their vibrant and large blooms that come in a rainbow of colors, including red, pink, orange, yellow and white.
Oncidium is a large and diverse genus of orchids, comprising over 300 species. These orchids are characterized by their brightly colored flowers that typically have a prominent lip or “tongue,” and their distinctive shape earns them the name of “dancing-lady orchid.” Oncidiums are popular among orchid enthusiasts and are broadly used in floral arrangements and corsages.
Cymbidium, also called boat orchid, is a genus of 50–70 species ranging in color from white and pale yellow to green, maroon, and dark bronze. These flowers are long-lasting, and are commonly used in corsages. Their waxy petals and sepals are typically the same tone, while the prominent lip often features a contrasting color.
